Bachelorette Party

A few days before my wedding, the ladies took me out for a night of celebrating. We started off the night with dinner at Boogaloo, a great Carribbean/Creole/Cajun restaurant in the Maplewood neighborhood (in St. Louis). After that, we hopped on the party bus:





We then made our way to my favorite hole-in-the wall, the Double D Lounge, for some karaoke (the "Double D" refers to the names of the owners, in case you were concerned). My friend Lana got the party jumping with a great rendition of something:

Over the course of the night, "that guy" crashed our party. You know, that guy who thinks that a group of girls would be thrilled to have him around. Our "that guy" was Giovanni, who insisted on having his photo taken with me:



I think you can probably tell what I thought of Giovanni. Actually, that's probably a little unfair. He was very nice, just a little obnoxious.

Overall, it was a great night -- I had a really good time.
