Visitors and Visiting

It's been awhile since our last post.  Alex has been entertaining visitors and also took his first flight ever for a trip to Oklahoma.

First, we got a visit from Jamie's parents...

Then, my mom paid us a visit.

She really got quite the workout because Alex has recently become mobile.  No matter how much warning we had about how fast crawling babies are, we still underestimate his speed and desire to get to things he shouldn't.  (By the way, pay no attention to the un-childproofed brick fireplace hearth behind him in this picture.)

We also celebrated our first Father's Day.

The big news is that Alex took his first flight (and handled it like a champ) to visit some friends and relatives in Oklahoma.  One of his biggest fans was his cousin, Dallyn.

Here he is with his grandma and great-grandma.

Seemed like he enjoyed the trip and meeting lots of new friends and family.  (He must have already worn his grandpa out.  You can see him sleeping in the background here.)
