2 Months Left...

...until we stop counting his age in months.  (That stops at 2 years old, right?)  Alex hasn't had many visitors in awhile, so most of you probably want an update on what he's up to. Well, he's chatting up a storm these days.  He can sing his ABCs, count to 10, recognize some numbers and letters, and, in certain cases, speak in complete sentences.  He's also quite good with people's names, animals, and colors.  We also recently discovered that he can also do most of this in Spanish.  One day, when Jamie was dropping him off at day care, he was pointing at things and calling out colors.  The teacher walked up to him and said "en espanol" and he started in with "rojo" and "verde".  We then realized that what we thought was him babbling at home was him calling us "senor" and "senorita".  Apparently, he's quite the teacher's pet on the days the Spanish teacher comes in.  He clearly gets this from his mother.  (The brown-nosing, not the foreign language proficiency!) He also seems to enjoy playing with other kids rather than just playing nearby them.  But, I think the rankings for his favorite people might still be all adults:
